Cambridge ‘Blood’ 15 – Diss 10
The only try of the first half came from Cambridge with Tom Clements successfully ripping the ball out of a maul and passing out to Harvey Jacklin who ran in the try.  Diss fought back in the second half, but Cambridge responded, ripping the ball in forward play from their own line.  Great passing from William Zeitlyn saw the ball go out to Thomas Freestone who scored with a great touchline run.  Harvey scored Cambridge’s third with a run from kick-off.

Cambridge ‘Blood’ 10 – Diss 30
In the re-match Diss dominated the first half and were 15-0 up at half time.  Cambridge battled hard but were unable to finish.  In the second half, some quick running from Ben Udin gave Cambridge their first try.  This was quickly followed by a try from William Zeitlyn.  Great effort by all.

Cambridge ‘Sand’ 15 – Peterborough 0
1st half 0:0
Up against a physical and heavier opposition Cambridge struggled to assert themselves.  In the latter stages of the 1st half Cambridge got within 5m of Peterborough's touchline but a series of direct runs failed against a hard tackling opposition and the half ended 0:0

2nd half.  3 tries : 0
Cambridge started brightly and with bridging at ruck situations releasing more players into open play they began to dominate.  The ball was quickly down the line from a ruck on the right hand side and Harry Connor collected and scored.  The next time we were in a ruck in Peterborough's half Cambridge opted to go direct and on the third occasion Robert Marmion burst through to score.  The third try also came from forward play on the right hand side, this time a maul almost made it to the line.  Penalty to Cambridge and at the first breakdown Hugh Barker picked up the ball and sprinted to the line

Cambridge ‘Sand’ 10 – Peterborough 10
1st half 2:1
The rematch was a very close affair.  Our boys worked hard to neutralise the opposition and a well worked ball from a ruck went out to a hard charging Harry Connor who went on an unstoppable looping run to score the first try.   Straight after the restart the powerful Peterborough side got themselves within 5m of our try line and despite some excellent defending they were finally able to carry the ball over for their first try.  Hugh Barker had to leave the pitch injured and Connor Smith ran 100m from the touchline on the Diss game to join the fray.  Cambridge never dropped their heads despite the pressure and change in line up.  In fact they continued to look effective and Harry Connor went on another mazy run and spun out of a couple of tackles to score and the half ended 2:1

2nd half.  2 tries: 2
Peterborough started to make quickly from the whistle and had a try on the board within 2 minutes of the restart.  Cambridge maintained their composure and were competitive at the breakdowns, Peterborough did not look like scoring again.  Several boys came close with Harvey the least fortunate being denied by a high tackle a metre from the line after a strong run.
