Under 12s

CRUFC Under 12s are a flourishing squad who enjoyed a fine season of rugby last year. Each player’s performance was excellent and with skill, strength and stamina being key elements.

The training sessions were geared to improve fitness and encourage the players to read the game. With contact increasing in this age group the players are encouraged to play safely and be respectful of others. As well as the competitive side of the game the coaches stress that fun is an element that needs to be remembered, with this in mind we organise social events which we hope the parents will also attend.

Under 12s played in some fantastic tournaments and the standard of rugby was exciting. They succeeded in reaching the finals of both the County Cup and Sudbury festival. Under 12s will experience their first tour this year which will be a great opportunity for them.

Our training sessions are at Wests Renault Park, Grantchester Road, each Sunday at 10.00 am. If you would like to join please come along. We look forward to meeting you.
