Under 13s
 Welcome to our Under 13s web page!
The Under 13’s squad has continued to grow, we started last season with 35 boys and finished a highly successful campaign with 44, allowing us to field 2 strong teams, alternatively and sometimes together on big match days or tournaments, which we proudly call the LIONS and the BARBARIANS.
Last season saw the boys play 28 matches, winning 24, drawing 3 and losing 1 with the boys scoring 440 and conceding only 124 points, the highlights of which were winning the Cambridgeshire County Cup, followed by the Northampton Saints Tournament, where they won all 6 matches on each occasion.
This season sees the boys move to Youth Rugby on a full sized pitch with a squad of 15, we generally meet at 10.00 am for a match day fixture or training and finish at around 12.00 noonish, where we have beefed up the training team to include 2 coaches for both the forwards and the backs, who get to work on the boys after the dreaded warm-up.
Some of our boys started in the Under 7’s and some half way through last season, either way, every provision is made to integrate all individuals into our lively squad, and so new players are always more than welcome.
Following the success of last year, we are repeating the running of EXTRA training seasons on Tuesdays from 18.00 to 19.30 until October 7th or when it gets dark.
Our 2007-08 tour saw the boys return to Dublin only to be narrowly beaten by Willow Park, however our travel weary tourists made the most of their trip and look forward to our 2008-09 campaign.
